NEVAEH & NIKEIA CARE FOUNDATION is a non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting individuals in police custody by providing legal aid, counseling, and medical assistance. Our mission is to ensure justice, restore dignity, and offer compassionate care to those in need. We also advocate for systemic change to promote a just and humane society.

We serve individuals in police custody who lack access to necessary support and resources, we do this leveraging the the local context as we are starting with a borderless foresight as we forge ahead. This includes those facing legal challenges, experiencing emotional or mental distress, or in need of urgent medical care. Our focus is on helping the underserved and marginalized in our community.

Our core services include:

Legal Aid: Providing legal representation, advice, and advocacy to ensure fair treatment and justice.

Counseling: Offering emotional and psychological support to individuals and their families.

Medical Assistance: Ensuring access to healthcare and addressing physical and mental health needs.

Transparency is one of our core values. We ensure fairness by working closely with verified legal professionals, licensed counselors, and healthcare providers. All donations and funding are tracked, and we provide detailed reports to stakeholders on how resources are utilized. We also maintain open communication with the communities we serve.

We believe that every individual, regardless of their circumstances, deserves dignity, compassion, and access to justice. Many people in custody face systemic challenges, including lack of legal representation, emotional trauma, and inadequate medical care. By focusing on this group, we aim to address these critical gaps and make a lasting impact.

There are several ways to support our work:

Volunteer: Join us as a legal expert, counselor, healthcare provider, or general volunteer.

Partner: Collaborate with us as an organization or business to amplify our reach and impact.

Advocate: Spread awareness about our mission and the importance of justice and dignity for all.

We take cases of abuse and human rights violations seriously. Our legal team works to investigate such cases, provide representation, and, where necessary, escalate them to appropriate authorities or human rights organizations. We also advocate for policy changes to prevent such violations.

Custody can be a traumatic experience, affecting mental and emotional well-being. Our licensed counselors provide tailored support to help individuals cope with stress, anxiety, and trauma. They also assist families in navigating the emotional impact of having a loved one in custody.

Our long-term goal is to build a just and equitable society where no one is denied their rights or dignity due to systemic challenges. We aim to expand our reach, enhance our services, and work towards sustainable policy reforms to improve the treatment of individuals in custody.
