Medical Aid
We ensure access to basic healthcare services for individuals in police custody, including medical assessments and emergency treatments.
First off, at Nikiea and Neveah Foundation, we believe that quality healthcare should be available to everyone. However, it is not out of place to assert that Nigeria has one of the least efficient, and certainly most cost/benefit deficient systems of healthcare in the entire developing world.
There are a myriad of reasons why. Suffice it to say we view healthcare as a Free Market when it has none of the actual characteristics of a Free Market.
Thus, the provision and delivery of healthcare services is effectively extortion in Nigeria: Your Money or Your Life. Choose.

Most health issues are unplanned because no one deliberately courts sickness. It comes without explanation or our consent. As a result, most Nigerians are taken by surprise. Considering how impoverished many Nigerians are, assessing medical support can be a herculean task. Few people have health insurance or savings. Oftentimes, a small sickness could be just as bad as a death sentence. Even such things as costs for laboratory tests have become unbearable for families, not to talk of hospital bills.
Consequently, at Nikiea and Neveah Foundation, we will see in what ways we can assist in this ugly scenario.
If someone has a good income then they can buy the best medicine, the best doctors, the best nursing and paramedical services with five-star-like bedrooms, and other such services. The story is not the same for the majority of Nigerians.
For these poor ones to get Medical Support, they will need to contact us through the numbers or email displayed here on our website, giving specific information about their medical needs.
